This is the first serious piece I completed. It is a depiction of an old apartment I used to live in...I really loved that apartment. It was originally a barn, turned into a veternary clinic, and eventually a living space for renters. As you might imagine, the interior had a lot of unique quarks, which is what was really endearing about it.

Denny Morreale is a 2007 graduate of St. Lawrence University and is currently living and working in Canton, NY. In the years since graduating, he has undertaken an informal process of self-study, drawing heavily from the resources of the Owen D. Young Library at SLU. His background as a History major has carried over extensively into his work, which focuses on the subjective experience of time and place. In essence, his work embraces its role as ‘primary source’, and seeks to contribute to the mythology of the communities which participate.
