About Denny Morreale
Denny Morreale is a 2007 graduate of St. Lawrence University and is currently living and working in Canton, NY. In the years since graduating, he has undertaken an informal process of self-study, drawing heavily from the resources of the Owen D. Young Library at SLU. His background as a History major has carried over extensively into his work, which focuses on the subjective experience of time and place. In essence, his work embraces its role as ‘primary source’, and seeks to contribute to the mythology of the communities which participate.

I think that I already told you this, denny! I cannot look at your often charming paintings without thinking about Soutine (a great artist even if it was an "academician"; great intuitive, gut painting!) You should, maybe, check it out, man, because I have no doubt you are in the same tradition! fav. and v.
